Wapakoneta bowlers second at WBL tourney

The Western Buckeye League held its league tournament for the boys teams on Friday afternoon.
The host Roughriders finished with a total of 3,838 pins to take the team title. Wapakoneta was second with 3,757 total pins, followed by Shawnee (3,605), Elida (3,424) and Ottawa-Glandorf (3,301).
St. Marys had 2,769 in the three regular games and 1,069 in six Baker games. The Redskins had 2,782 in regular games and 975 in Baker games, respectively.
Derek Fisher of St. Marys had the high series with 652 (259-196-197).
Individually for Wapakoneta, Kris Ridenour had the second best series with 633 (223-224-186). Caige Schnarre rolled a 626 (212-170-244) and Sam Wagner had 569 (151-243-175). They finished fourth and sixth, respectively.
Tanner Schroeder had 469 (163-147-159); Caleb Schellenberg had a 180 in the third game and Tanner Haggard rolled 170 in the first game.
