In a must-win scenario, the Botkins Trojans came through with a 2-0 victory Tuesday over the Temple Christian Pioneers to capture the Western Ohio Soccer League boys soccer title for 2015.

The Trojans entered the game Tuesday trailing Temple Christian by one point in the league standings and emerged with a two-point lead in the final WOSL contest of the season.

Nolan Greve provided two goals for Botkins (9-6-1, 6-1-0 WOSL) on its home field en route to the win, giving the Trojans their first WOSL title in the league's second year of existence.

The Trojans' league title Tuesday is the first for the school in any sport since the baseball team won the Shelby County Athletic League in 2008.
