The Wapakoneta wrestlers took care of business on Thursday night, defeating the homestanding Wildcats by a lopsided 51-21 score. The win improved their Western Buckeye League record to 5-0.
The win also ensured that the club would do no worst than stay in a tie atop the WBL standings. The Redskins entered the evening tied with Celina, with Defiance and St. Marys one back at 3-1.
Evan Kaeck won a battle with Noah Eikenbary at 220, while Collin Mellott (106), Bryce Knapke (113) and Nate Roa (120) got pins.
