The Wapakoneta football faithful continued to build a new tradition on Thursday with the third annual alumni dinner.
The event was held in the high school cafeteria. Varsity head coach Travis Moyer welcomed the crowd of players, alumni and fans. He expressed appreciation to the parents who helped prepare and serve the meal, and asked former players, then coaches, to stand and be recognized.
Moyer noted that the Redskins have won four of the last five Western Buckeye League titles, been to the playoffs in five of six seasons, and been ranked in the top 10 of the state Associated Press poll in four of five years.
