The Wapakoneta Redskins clinched their first undefeated Western Buckeye League season since 2000 with a 15-6 win Saturday over the Van Wert Cougars.

The Redskins trailed 6-2 in the game and scored 13 straight runs to end the game.

Wapakoneta had already clinched the WBL title outright Tuesday with a win over Ottawa-Glandorf, giving them an 8-0 league record with the nine other WBL teams having at least two losses.

The Redskins' win Saturday was their 20th this season, giving them one more than last season's team.
