Redskins bowlers sweep Kenton

The Wapakoneta boys and girls bowling teams recorded a sweep of visiting Kenton on Thursday.
The matches were held at Astro Lanes in Wapakoneta.
The boys defeated Kenton 2,796 to 2,172, while the Lady Redskins had 2,284 pins to 1,759 for the visitors.
For the Redskins, Sam Wagner led the way with games of 225 and 234 for a 459 series. Caige Schnarre had 192 and 184 for 376, and Tanner Haggard rolled 154 and 192 for a 346.
In the girls match, McKenzie Wagner had the high series with games of 202 and 183 for 385. Rosemary Houts had 183 and 147 for a 330. Brielle Meeks had 136 and 140 for 276, and Josie Jeanneret had games of 116 and 136 for 252. In addition, Madison Doseck had 181 in the first game and Kaylie Vo had 90 in the second.
