Redskins baseball gets road win over Kenton

KENTON — The Wapakoneta baseball team bounced back, as they defeated Kenton 12-5 in a Western Buckeye League contest on Tuesday.
The Redskins scored in every inning except the fifth, as they evened their record at 6-6 overall.
Ryan Carrico had three hits and two RBI for Wapakoneta, while Brady Erb and Jett Makar each both doubled and singled. Makar drove in two runs and Erb had one RBI.
Nate Ambos had a double and walk, and brought in three runs.
Isaac Webb also doubled and walked, and drove in two.
J.R. Young added a two-base hit as well.
Erb threw five innings, allowing four runs on three hits and six walks. He recorded nine strikeouts.
Makar threw two innings of relief, giving up one run on two hits and two walks. He struck out three.
