OHSAA cancels winter sports tournaments

COLUMBUS — The Ohio High School Athletic Asssociation has officially canceled the 2020 winter sports tournaments.
This includes boys basketball, girls basketball, wrestling and ice hockey.
Jerry Snodgrass, executive director of OHSAA, said that the priority is the safety of the athletes, coaches, officials and fans.
The 16 state semifinalists in girls basketball will all receive state tournament programs.
The 672 wrestlers will receive a program, certificate, and copy of their weigh-in card.
No state champions will be listed for these sports for 2020.
