While college stars will be focusing this weekend on the NFL draft, Ohio high school stars will have once more chance to play.
The 74th annual North-South Classic will be held Saturday in Massillon. The event is sponsored by the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association.
One of those taking part will be senior Brenan Knueve of Wapakoneta. Knueve, a defensive lineman, was a key part of Wapakoneta’s 2018 season which saw the Redskins go 11-2, win the Western Buckeye League, and reach the regional finals.
Knueve, who is 5-10 and is currently at 255 pounds, was named the WBL Offensive Lineman of the Year and co-Defensive Lineman of the Year. He was named to the first team at tackle and defensive end.
Additionally, he was selected for the first team for the Northwest District and all-Ohio squads.
