It was a good day for a car show

VFW Post 8445 hosted their 6th Annual Veterans Helping Veterans Auto Show on Saturday, featuring over 200 participanst and 'Half Pint,' a 1/2 scale model of a M1A1 Abrams tank.

It was a good day to be out cruising in your hot rod on Saturday, and that was good news for the Wapakoneta VFW Post 8445.
Records numbers of classic car owners–over 200–rolled up to the Post this weekend, filling up the field behind the building on N. Dixie Hwy. for the 6th Annual Veterans Helping Veterans Auto Show.

"These guys, they want to get out as much as they can," the show's chairman, Craig Link said. "And we have good food, we have drinks, things going on."

They also had a brand new attraction, in the newly dedicated, 'Half Pint,' a 1/2 scale Abrams SEP V2 M1A2 Battle Tank.

It was just the second outing for the miniature tank, officially dedicated the day before, which can shoot t-shirts out of its cannon.
