Deron Prince is home, and he's home for good.

In a surprise for both Deron and his sons, Connor, 7, and Landon, 5, the United States Air Force veteran was welcomed back by his boys, wife Kara, and other family members at J. Marie's Wood Fired Kitchen and Drinks in Wapakoneta on Wednesday night.

The reunion, orchestrated by Kara, was the first in six months for the family, as Deron had been stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he had served as a Security Forces Raven, guarding American planes and high-ranking officials while traveling.
