Henderson named All-WDN Sports top boys athlete

The unquestioned leader for his teams and a gritty competitor on playing surface, Adam Henderson is in rare territory for his athletic achievements from this past school year.
The recent Wapakoneta High School graduate was named the 2014-15 Boys Athlete of the Year in the first installment of the All-Wapakoneta Daily News Sports selections.
Henderson excelled in football, basketball and baseball for the Redskins, and he is a dying breed of sorts — a three-sport athlete in the traditional big three — during an era when coaches and athletic directors are opposed to kids specializing in one sport.
Henderson managed to earn All-Ohio honors in two sports and first-team All-Western Buckeye League honors in all three sports.
