Goodes transfers to UNOH

LIMA — The University of Northwestern Ohio announced that Wapakoneta graduate Don Goodes has decided to transfer.
Goodes was part of the Wapakoneta baseball team that reached the Division II state final in 2018.
He spent the 2018-19 season playing for the Virginia MIlitary Institute.
According to a press release from UNOH, Goodes started in 38 games for the Keydets. He had a batting average of .261 with 11 RBIs. He had 11 games with multiple hits, getting three against The Citadel and Radford.
In his one year with the Redskins, he set school records for batting average, slugging percentage, hits, doubles and triples.
This summer, he has spent time playing for the Lima Locos of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League.
