Dinner helps Optimists help the community

Heading to the Redskins' Homecoming game on Friday? Looking for a hearty tailgate meal?

Well the Wapakoneta Breakfast Optimists have you covered as the club will again be hosting their BBQ Pulled Pork Dinner at St. Paul UCC on Friday.

Diners can pull up to the parking lot and pick up a (carryout only) meal for only $8, which includes pulled pork, chips, baked beans, and a roll.

But the dinner does more than just fill up you up for the game.

The Optimist Club centers on providing opportunities for the youth in the community, and funds raised during the dinner further that cause.
