Cross country runners compete at county invite

ST. MARYS — Area cross country runners made their 2019 debut on Tuesday at the Auglaize County Invitational.
Noah Tobin of St. Marys won the boys race in a time of 17:38, with teammate Craig Stuttler second (18:26).

In the girls race, freshman Taylor Spencer of Waynesfield-Goshen took top honors with a time of 19:16. That time also set a school record
Brianna Cisco of St. Marys (21:32) was second, with Wapakoneta's Paige Schneider third (21:51).
St. Marys (41) edged New Bremen (44) for the team title. Wapakoneta was third (64) and Waynesfield-Goshen was fourth (90). New Knoxville did not have a team score.
