City takes public comments on 198, 501 intersection

City officials held a public meeting Tuesday to hear comments on proposed changes to the state Route 198-state Route 501 intersection.

AIP, state reach settlement

A settlement was recently reached between the State of Ohio and AIP Logistics in an injunction case in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court.

According to official court documents, the agreement was reached July 21, and the journal entry on the settlement was filed in court on Friday.

Donations sought for memorial scholarship

Donations will be collected Friday at the high school football scrimmage between Wapakoneta and Minster high schools to fund a scholarship in memory of the two Elida football players who died as a result of a car crash last week.

Wapak's 50-match winning streak snapped

A half-a-hundred long winning streak ended Friday, as the Wapakoneta Redskins lost their season opener to the Lincoln Lions of Gahanna.

Wapakoneta, which was coming off of three straight undefeated regular seasons, had its 50-match winning streak stopped in a 3-2 non-league loss.

Gliders fly into Wapak

Council OKs sale of Buckland school

Wapak police department probes vandalism cases

Police officers are asking for the public's help to solve a rash of recent vandalism cases. On Tuesday, the Wapakoneta Police Department received more than 30 reports of vehicle windows being shot out by a BB or pellet gun. The reports were scattered across the city.
