Ryleigh Brooke-Lynn Schwer, 4, of Lakeview, was called to Heaven Friday evening, Sept. 13, 2013, while at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
Ryleigh was born on March 30, 2009, in Bellefontaine, to Tiffany (Dick) and Travis Schwer, who survive in Lakeview, along with her two brothers, Caiden and Xavier.
She is also survived by maternal grandparents, Ruby (Steve) Reames, of Bellefontaine, and Jeff (Amy) Dick, of Montrose, Colo.; paternal grandparents, Laura (Ron) Pratt, of Lakeview, Chrissi (Dave) Emmons, of West Carrolton, and Jeff Schwer, of St. Marys; maternal great-grandmother, Alberta Major, of Russells Point; paternal great-grandparents, Mildred Runkle, of Lakeview, Joseph Schwer, of Wapakoneta, and Larry (Cecelia) Grace, of Lima; aunts and uncles, Brooke (Justin McCall) Dick, Jeffrey Dick, Harley Dick, Mercedez Dick, Tohnee Turnmire, Justice Reames, Cheryl (Davey) Arndts, Danielle Stein, and Bryce Emmons; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather, Martin Major; and paternal great-grandparents, Ronnie Palmer, Alice Schwer and Charles Kindle Sr.
Ryleigh was an angel with beautiful blue eyes and a smile that would light up a room.Her strong personally helped her to beat many odds during her brief life on earth. She loved going to school at the Discover Center, listening to music, Tinker Bell, going skating and especially being with her brothers. In 2011, she placed second in the Little Miss Indian Lake Pageant.
Reverend Bryan Meadows and Pastor Ashley Sloan will officiate a funeral service at 1:30 pm, Wednesday at Shoffstall Funeral Home with visitation from 11a.m. to 1:30 pm. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Ryleigh Schwer Foundation to help future families with specific needs for their children.
Arrangements are in the care of Shoffstall Funeral Home in Lakeview.
