Iona J. Berning, 80, 415 W. Oliver St., St. Marys, died at 10:40 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the St. Marys Living Center.
She was born Oct. 15, 1932, in St. Marys, the daughter of Lillian and Edgar Henning.
She married Mathias Berning on June 25, 1955, and he preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1974.
Surviving are two daughters, Carla Kohnen, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Debra McKivison, of Lima.
Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St., St. Marys, with the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Norma Jean Hall, 85, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Wapakoneta and Van Wert, died at 6 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
She was born March 16, 1928, in Lima, the daughter of Cleta (Waltz) and Guy LaPole, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 19, 1948, she married Donald Gene “Geneo” Hall, and he died June 1, 1985.
Surviving are a daughter, Noreen Hall, of Louisville, Ky.; a grandson, Gregg Hall; and special friend, Trina Cassidy.
She was preceded in death by two children, Cathy Hall and Terry Hall.
Norma Jean was a homemaker and enjoyed dancing.

Richard A. Wagner, 72, of Cridersville, died at 4:59 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Cleveland Clinic.
He was born June 10, 1941 in Lima, to Eunice E. (Gattshall) and Randal R. Wagner Sr. Both parents preceded him in death. On Nov. 28, 1963, he married Phyllis J. Walter, who survives in Cridersville.

Patricia L. “Pat” Elsass, 83, of Wapakoneta, died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home, where she had resided since March 18, 2013.
She was born July 31, 1929, in Cambridge, the daughter of Frances (Jacobs) and Albert R. Moon, who are deceased. On Jan. 26, 1952, she married Nelson R. “Pete” Elsass, who died Sept. 16, 2005.

Cathy Lynn (Rhodes) Miller, 64, of Wapakoneta, died at 8:15 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 30, 1948 in Galion, to Lois M. (Bauer) and Harry E. Rhodes, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Christopher Miller, of St. Marys; and two daughters, Tara Cook, of Wapakoneta, and Tabitha Kilmer, of Dayton.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, 1175 E. Greenville Rd., St. Marys, with the Rev. Raymond Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in St. Marys.

Bradley A. Oen, 63, of Wapakoneta, died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 26, 1949, in Lima, the son of Anna Eileen (Anthony) and James Oen, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are his step-mother, Nancy Oen, of Wapakoneta; four siblings, Kevin (Cecilia) Oen, Eric (Kimberle) Oen, and Becky (Larry) Curtis, all of Wapakoneta, and Amy (Eric) Eichner, of Beavercreek; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Roger Dean Roediger, 81, died at 1:48 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013.
His life was a gift to all who knew him.
Mr. Roediger was born Sept. 10,1931, in Wapakoneta, to Ruby (Wentz) and Alfred Tobias Roediger who proceeded him in death. Mr. Roediger was a 1949 graduate of Blume High School. On July 29, 1953, he married Evelyn M. Kantner at St. Paul’s Evangelical and Reformed Church in Wapakoneta. They had a loving relationship.
