Nancy A. Koeper, 68, of 800 Bryarly Circle, Saint Marys, Ohio, died at 10:57 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Lima Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born Aug. 5, 1945, in Lima, the daughter of Melvin and Mildred (Thuman) Luedeke. She married Kenneth Koeper on Sept. 21, 1963, at Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ in New Bremen.

Doloros M. Diegel Katterhenry, 100

Doloros M. Diegel Katterhenry, 100, of rural Wapakoneta, died at 5:15 p.m., Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, at her residence with by her family by her side. She was born July 3, 1913, in Washington Township, Auglaize County, the daughter of Henry and Clara (May) Diegel, who preceded her in death. On June 12, 1938, she married Albert F. Katterhenry, and he died Sept. 2, 1972.

Janet M. Walter Klein, 66

Janet M. Walter Klein, 66, of Northfield, Ohio, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 3:30 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2014, at her residence. She was born Dec. 15, 1947, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of William and Florence (Hemmert) Walter, who preceded her in death. On May 23, 1986, she married Norman C. Klein, and he survives.

Donald L. "Don" Method, 82

Donald L. "Don" Method, 82, of rural New Knoxville, died at 11:29 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2014, in the E.R. Deptartment of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, in St. Marys, following a sudden illness, with his daughter at his side. He was born May 23, 1931, in Warsaw, Ind., a son of Burdette Hartman and Helen Louise Crowl Method, who are deceased. In 1949, he married Norma J. Slater, who is deceased, and in 1955, married Patricia A. Jay, who also is deceased. On Oct. 3, 1966, he married Letha A. Hager Hennon, who survives.

Tom Christian Schnell, 79

Tom Christian Schnell, of Fort Worth, Texas, much loved husband, father and grandfather (Opa), took Jesus' hand April 2, 2014. He was 79 years old.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2014, at Lighthouse Fellowship. Visitation was Sunday, April 6 from 4-6 p.m. at Lighthouse Fellowship. Inurnment took place at 3:15 p.m at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane B.

Lovina A. Madigan, 92

Lovina A. Madigan, 92, of Wapakoneta, died at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at the Wapakoneta Manor. She was born Jan. 13, 1922, in Hardin County, the daughter of Clifford and Margaret (Cook) Rostorfer, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 23, 1950, she married Raymond A. Madigan, and he survives.

Kennith Sheridan Mullins, 63

Kennith Sheridan Mullins, 63, of Wapakoneta, died at 11:27 a.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Lima Memorial Health System Emergency Room. He was born April 25, 1950, in Lima, the son of James and Pearl (Roe) Mullins, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include, three children, Victoria L. Mullins and Eric M. Mullins, both of Wapakoneta, and Steven A. Mullins, of Marion; siblings, James (Peggy) Mullins, of Denton, Texas, Betti Hendrickson, of Maynardville, Tenn.; former wife and mother of the children, Caroline (Ewing) Hickman; several nieces and nephews.

Betty L. Sheipline, 90

Betty L. Sheipline, 90, of Wapakoneta, died at 4:30 p.m., April 15, 2014, at Otterbein Cridersville. She was born May 25, 1923, in Auglaize County, the daughter of Walter and Francis (Kupper) Vossler, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 3, 1948, she married Harry E. Sheipline, and he died July 10, 1988.

Iris Nancy Walters, 84

Iris Nancy “Kitten” Walters, 84, of Wapakoneta, went home to be with her Lord at 4:11 p.m., April 14, 2014, at Lima Memorial Health Systems from a short illness.

She was born March 31, 1930, in Lima, to John Robert and Edithmae Moore Schultheis who preceded her in death.

She married her high school sweetheart Lee ‘Sam’ Walters July 3, 1949, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2011.

Survivors include children, Debbie (Earl) Caudill, Greg (Cathy) Walters, Mike (Angie) Walters, Connie (Derrick) Martin, Seth (Haley) Walters and a foster son, Tom (Diane) Frank.

Roger L. Sunderland, 74

April 15, 2014

Roger L. Sunderland, 74, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:11 a.m., Monday, April 14, 2014, at his home surrounded by is family. He was born in Lima on Sept. 9, 1939, to Martin Jacob and Minnie E. Brown Sunderland — both parents preceded him in death. On June 10, 1961, he married Dolores A. Gierhart, who survives in Wapakoneta.

Mr. Sunderland was retired from Teledyne-Ohio Steel. He enjoyed music, spending time in his garage and with his family.
