Workers put out fire at local plant

The Wapakoneta Fire Department responded to a fire alarm call Tuesday morning at Midwest Elastomers in Wapakoneta that sent one employee to the hospital.

According to the Fire Department, an employee had extinguished the fire by the time they had arrived at the scene.
