Wapakoneta loses 5th straight match against Kalida

The Wapakoneta Redskins lost their fifth straight match Tuesday in a 3-0 sweep by the Kalida Wildcats in non-league varsity volleyball action.

Kalida won by scores of 25-23, 25-14 and 25-22.

Wapak fell to 6-6 overall after a 6-1 start.

Jadyn Nuss had 21 digs for Wapak.

The Redskins received four aces from Karli Schneider.

Lea Stoner led Wapak with 13 blocks, while Josie Miller added 12.

The Redskins will look to break their losing streak Thursday with a road match in Western Buckeye League play against the Celina Bulldogs.
