Wanda E. (Thuman) Capps, 67

Wanda E. (Thuman) Capps, 67, of Wapakoneta, died at 7:25 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Heartland of Indian Lake, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Nov. 21, 1946, in Sidney, the daughter of Franklin L. and Blanche (Comer) Thuman, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her only daughter, Cindy Link, her sister, Connie Binkley, and two grandsons she thought the world of, Tim Link and Travis Link. She was married to Danny Capps of Lima.  

A 1964 graduate of Wapakoneta High School, Wanda liked to crochet and travel to the beach.  When she was younger, she was an avid bowler. She loved to watch her grandson play football and bowl. She also loved her cats Cocoa and Meffy.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, state Route 501, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Becky Sunday officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
