Walter Wauben, 73

Walter H. Wauben, 73, of Wapakoneta, died at 11:37 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15 at Lima Memorial Health Systems.
He was born April 23, 1939, in Lima, to Lucille (Konst) and William Mathew Wauben. On Nov. 22, 1960, he married Erma Jene Griffith, and she preceded him in death Feb. 1, 2013.
Surviving are a son, Terry (Robin) Wauben, of Galena; two granddaughters, Hailey Wauben and Hannah Wauben; two brothers, Charles (Mary) Wauben, of Delphos, and James (Sherry) Wauben, of Reston, Va.; and a sister, Jeanette (Rodney) Brown of Lima.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Wauben and Paul Wauben.
Mr. Wauben had been the Bookmobile Driver for the Allen County Library. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, talking to people and his two granddaughters.
Services are at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, with the Revs. Lynn Huffman and Becky Gray officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Auglaize Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
