Walter Dulebohn, 63

Walter E. “Wally” Dulebohn, 63, of Wapakoneta, died at 3:35 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.
He was born on March 4, 1950, in Auglaize County, to Viola (Kaeck) and Charles B. Dulebohn, who preceded him in death. On Sept. 5, 1981, he married Elaine M. Burris, who survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors also include two sons, Jim (Jess) Dulebohn, of Wapakoneta, and Jeremy (Jenny) Dulebohn, of Wapakoneta; two daughters, Melissa (Mark Daniel) Bartlett of Wapakoneta, and Sherri (Omar Veerjee) Ault, of Pickerington; 11 grandchildren Gabby, Austin and Hunter Dulebohn, Zak, Tyler and Colby Dulebohn, Mia and Marshall Bartlett, Lindsay and Benjamin Ault, Aiden Veerjee; four sisters, Jean (William) Ott, of Wapakoneta, Carolyn (John) Hudnall, of Wapakoneta, Marilyn (Joseph) Garcia, of Cridersville, and Doris Cottrell, of Sarasota, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Norman Dulebohn.
Wally was 1968 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High School. After graduation he spent 6 years in the Army National Guard. He then retired after 41 years of service with the Telephone Service Company in Wapakoneta. He also did tree trimming. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and especially traveling.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Dana Bjorlin officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta with military rites being performed by the V.F.W. Post 8445.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
