W-G softball defeats Perry

The Waynesfield-Goshen softball squad made its debut Thursday, with a 12-6 victory over Perry.
The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday, one of several postponements the Lady Tigers have had, along with the rest of the area.
Cydney Roberts was the winning pitcher. Roberts went all seven innings, allowing six runs on five hits and three walks. She recorded 11 strikeouts on the day.
Madison Crumrine was 3-for-4 with five RBIs. Hannah Hendrickson drove in two runs, and Aubrey Biederman had two hits and a walk and drove in a run. Cassidy Craig had a double and a walk.
