CRIDERSVILLE — With the help of the Cridersville Lions Club and Historical Society, the Village of Cridersville is working toward a new project.

In an effort to celebrate the heritage of the community and the importance of lifelong learning, Cridersville has developed plans for a new park, Legacy Park.

The development of Legacy Park will be located on the former Cridersville School site at 300 E. Main St.
With the assistance of Garmann Miller Architects from Minster, a design has been created with many different activities, areas and historical aspects included.

According to a Legacy Park brochure, its creation is going to be a major endeavor for the village, and it is anticipated it will be completed in phases.

The brochure also states, “As with all big, meaningful projects it will take time, money and a lot of community support and involvement. But, the benefits to our residents — especially our children — could be wonderful.”
