Sue Fox, 72

Sue A. Fox, 72, of Wapakoneta, went to be with The Lord at 11:50 a.m. Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.
She was born Oct. 13, 1940, in Dayton, the daughter of Martha (Kipker) and James Williams. Her mother survives in Land O’Lakes, Fla., and her father is deceased. Sue graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, Ill. in May of 1962. On Aug. 18, 1962, she married the Rev. Larry Fox, and he survives in Wapakoneta. She was actively involved with him in his pastoral ministry for 50 years.
Surviving are three children, Susan (William) Walter, of Lima, Jayma (Daniel) Dodds, of Anna, and Stephen (Darci) Fox, of Belle Center; five grandchildren, Jacob Dodds, Isaac Dodds, Luke Dodds, Marina Fox, and Avery Fox; three brothers, James (Vicki) Williams, of Pendleton, Ind., Ray Williams, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Lon (Sue) Williams, of Land O’Lakes, Fla.
Sue was the administrative coordinator for the Northwestern Ohio District Church of the Nazarene in St. Marys. She served on the board of trustees at Mount Vernon Nazarene University since Jan. 2000. She had been actively involved in church missions since her youth. She served 27 years as the District Nazarene Missions International (NMI) President and on the General Church NMI council for eight years. In honor of her service and passion for others, the Fox Library and Research Center was built in 2007 on the campus of Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary in Manila, Philippines. She was a member of the Wapakoneta Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Nazarene District Center, 272 Jack Oak Point Rd., St. Marys, with the Rev. Geoffrey Kunselman officiating. Burial is to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Nazarene District Center.
