Robert Haller, 86

Robert Lee Haller, 86, a resident of Wyngate Retirement Community in Lima and formerly a resident of Otterbein-St. Marys, died at 2:48 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health Systems following an extended illness.
He was born Jan. 9, 1925, in Kossuth, the son of Hazel Chesta Gross and Albert Theodore Haller. On June 1, 1946, he married Grace Irene Boyer, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Steven Haller, of Spencerville, and Gary Haller, of Lima; and four daughters, Dorothy Dickman, of Wapakoneta, Nancy Jordan, of Tennessee, Christine Zofkie, of Lima, and Janice Haller, of Lima.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with the Rev. William Cronk officiating. Burial with graveside military rites conducted by the Spencerville Veterans will follow at the Kossuth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be conducted by the Sager Lodge at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be given to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
