Robert D. Lee, 72, of Jackson Center, died at 5:09 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2014, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, in Lima. He was born Oct. 9, 1941, in Spencerville, the son of Dean and Thelma (South) Lee, who preceded him in death. On Nov. 27, 1965, he married Grace A. Shepard, and she died Nov. 18, 1997.

Survivors include, four children, Barbara (Jason Burt) Wisen, of Jackson Center, Robert Lee II, of Wapakoneta, Elizabeth (Ronald) Tuttle, of Jackson Center, Donald (Joslin) Lee, of Jackson Center; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; siblings, John Lee, of St. Marys, Paul (Carolyn) Lee, of Spencerville, Dorothy Martin, of Wapakoneta, Dennis Lee, of Van Wert, Larry Lee, of Wapakoneta, Walter Lee, of Jackson Center; a sister-in-law, Shirley Lee, of Wapakoneta.

He was preceded in death by two children, Gregory and Holly Lee; brothers, Charles, James, Raymond and David Lee; and a sister, Shirley Ann Lee.

Bob worked as a security guard with Securitas. He enjoyed reading, being outdoors, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 11, 2014, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, state Route 501, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Charles H. Johnson officiating. Burial is to follow in the Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson, OH. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
