Richard C. Weisenbarger, 79

Richard C. “Dick” Weisenbarger, 79, of 801 Oliver St., St. Marys, and formerly of Van Wert, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton following a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 29, 1931, in Darke County, the son of Mabel (Carmony) and Wilbur Weisenbarger, who preceded him in death.
He married Izez Weadock Ankerman on May 22, 1993, and she survives at the residence.
He also is survived by three children, Kay Jennings, of Arkansas; Kevin Weisenbarger, of Green Cove Spring, Fla.; and Kristin Weisenbarger, of Jonesboro, Tenn.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Funeral rites are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, in Saint Marys, with the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray officiating. Burial, with military honors, is to follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, in St. Marys, where memorial donations may be directed to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.
