Redskins win county title; Sweede medalist

The Wapakoneta Redskins were a step ahead of their competition Wednesday during a first-place finish in the Auglaize County Open.

The Redskins had a 337 in their second straight tournament at Arrowhead Golf Club in Minster, finishing 32 strokes ahead of the runner-up, St. Marys.

Wapakoneta's Tanner Sweede was the tournament medalist with an 81. His teammate Jared Miller was second overall with an 83.

Waynesfield-Goshen finished fifth with a team score of 412.
