The Ohio High School Athletic Association launched a statewide online football scoreboard Monday in advance of the start of the Ohio high school football regular season, the OHSAA announced.
The scoreboard is considered official by the OHSAA, lists all scheduled games and is capable of containing box scores for each game.
"The scoreboard is updated either from schools entering scores into the myOHSAA online system, which is required, or by schools that use the free Digital Scout Football app," the OHSAA wrote in a release Monday. "Digital Scout is a partner with the OHSAA on several initiatives and the OHSAA endorses Digital Scout’s mobile stats app and highly encourages schools to use it. The free Digital Scout Football stat tracking app is already used by more than 200 Ohio varsity teams and provides coaches with detailed stat reports."
The new official scoreboard can be found online at www.hsgamecenter.com/ohsaa.
The OHSAA announced Monday a reminder that the weekly computer ratings will be released every Tuesday afternoon beginning Sept. 24, in Week 4 of the regular season. The final computer ratings which determine playoff qualifiers will be released Sunday morning, Nov. 3.
The association also announced that the sale of all-session tickets and three other ticket packages for the state football championships went on sale Monday.
