A new store that recently opened on Willipie Street is specializing in selling gently used furniture items, dishware and home decor.

Everyday Furniture & More opened May 30, joining the many other locally-owned shops in downtown Wapakoneta.

Store owners Eric and Jenny Kent have close ties to Wapakoneta, and wanted to open up a store that would benefit the community they grew up in.

“We live in Fryburg but we both grew up in the Wapak area,” Jenny Kent said. “It’s our community so we definitely wanted to be local. We love our town.”

Realizing there was a need in the community for well-crafted, real wood furniture items, Jenny Kent said she and her husband began purchasing items at local and online auctions until they built up enough inventory to open up a store.
