New computer business hopes to keep repair costs down

June 17, 2014

The costs that come with repairing a computer, tablet, phone and other devices can sometimes be overly high and intimidating.

Information Technology Services Manager of the Auglaize County District Public Library, Fred Miller believes high prices for technological repairs hinder the customers’ needs more than helping fix the problem. That is why Miller opened is own business.

“Our business, it’s called Miller’s Computer Services, and it’s located at 314 Jackson Street. We turned my garage into a shop so we could service computers and other stuff for patrons and people around the area,” Miller said. “The reason I started a business is, I used to work at a computer shop in Wapak, and felt that it was unfair for customers to pay a really high price for repairs and parts to get their computers fixed.”
