Miracle Meal serves hundreds

Hundreds gathered in the Junior Fair Building at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds for the annual Miracle Meal.

The 18th annual Miracle Meal took place at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds Monday night. Hundreds gathered in the Junior Fair Building at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds for a free Christmas dinner complete with gifts for children, music and fellowship.
Miracle Meal Board President Rollie Kent says the event started 18 years ago when a handful of Christians got together to give back to the community.
“We decicded to do this and it started small,” Kent said. “Then it grew each year into what it is now.”
More than 100 volunteers help with the event, including families and children from different organizations in the
Wapakoneta community. Each and every one helps in some way to give back.
