Mildred M. Park, 87, of Lima, died at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at Wapakoneta Manor. She was born June 20, 1926, in Auglaize County, near Fryburg, the daughter of Harry E. & Clara E. (Strominger) Fisher, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 17, 1968, she married Charles R. Park, and he is deceased.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Nicholas (Marie) Jurosic, Michael (Judy) Jurosic, Steven (Evelyn) Jurosic, Clara (Bruce) Zwiebel, Louise (Michael) Symonds, Kenneth (Thelma) Kohnen, Joseph (Carol) Kohnen, Daniel (Carla) Kohnen, Anthony Kohnen, David (Judy) Kohnen, Sandra (Louis) Ley, Frederick Heitkamp, and Victoria (Robert) McCrone; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses, Frederick W. Fisher, Sylvia (Vernon) Heitkamp, Joan (Henry) Kohnen, Virginia (Donald) Combs, & Elinor (Robert) Jurosic, and a nephew William Jurosic.
A homemaker, Mildred was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Lima.
Her other memberships included the Able Disabled Club, and the Clark Equipment Retirees. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the St. John Catholic Church, Fryburg, with, Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial is to follow in the St. John Cemetery, Fryburg.
The family will receive friends from noon - 2 p.m., Tuesday at the Long & Folk Chapel, 13 S. Blackhoof St., Wapakoneta.
