Michael R. Knief, 55, of Vero Beach, Fla., died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at his home.
He was born Dec. 3, 1957, in Sidney, but had been a lifelong resident of Vero Beach, Fla., briefly moving to Berryville, Va., before returning to Vero Beach.
Surviving are a son, Tyler (Sue) Knief, of Vero Beach, Fla; his step-mother and father, Carol and Marion Knief, of Vero Beach, Fla; a sister, Marcia (David) Scott, of Richmond Hill, Ga.; a brother, Mark A. (Crystal) Knief, of Vero Beach, Fla.; four step-brothers, Thomas Stadelman, of Vero Beach, Fla., Charles Stadelman, of Sebastian, Fla., Kevin Stadelman, of Ocala, Fla., and Donald Stadelman, of Sarasota, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Zane, Stone, Jade and Briana.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene Knief.
Graveside services will take place in Ohio at a later date.
