Mary K. Wolfe, 70, 1905 Cheshire Drive, St. Marys, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 18, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 7, 1943, in St. Marys, to Mary (McClain) and Evert Adams, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 22, 1964, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in St. Marys, she married Thomas I. Wolfe, who died Aug. 7, 2012.
Surviving are two sons, Mark (Hannie) Wolfe, of St. Marys, and Michael Wolfe, M.D., of New York City; two daughters, Sandra (Robert) Smock, of St. Marys, and Pamala (John) Kennedy, of St. Marys; three grandchildren, Ashley (Shawn) Carpenter, Emily McKee, and Lynsey Kennedy; a great-granddaughter, Anna Kennedy; and a sister, Georgia (Nathan) Steinecker, of Wapakoneta.
She was a 1962 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School.
She was a homemaker and made and decorated cakes for all occasions.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and American Legion Post 323 auxiliary, both in St. Marys.
Her favorite pastimes included singing in the church choir, fishing, crocheting and collecting angels. She also enjoyed caring for her pet Siamese cat, “Sam.”
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home (314 W. High Street Chapel) in St. Marys.
