Mary Suever, 90

Mary C. Suever, 90, of Delphos, died at 5:10 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Green Hills Center, in West Liberty.
She was born Sept. 17, 1922, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Louise (Ziegenfilder) and Albert F. Schneider, who preceded her in death. She married Roland E. Esser, who preceded her in death in 1970. She then married Merlin “Lindy” Suever, and he preceded her in death in 1977.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Cheryl) Esser, of Stanwood, Wash., and Jeffrey Esser, of Hartsville, Tenn; a daughter, Diane (Fritz) Jeanneret, of Springfield; two sisters, Mildred (Carl) Metzger, of Fort Jennings, and Joan “Jo” Rosendale, of Delphos; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Faler; and six sisters, Florentine “Teeny” Hanf, Louise Mabry-Roby, Alberta Helping, Pauline “Pepper” Bibler, Irene Stearns, and Helen Rode.
She loved to play cards and bingo. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial is to be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with the Rev. Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial is to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, in Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Harter and Schier Funeral Home, in Delphos. A parish wake is planned for 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are being handled by Harter & Schier Funeral Home, in Delphos.
