Juggling bowling pins and riding a 7-foot unicycle, a performer stopped by the local library to entertain families during the first week out of school.

"Matt Jergens Comedy & Juggling" held a workshop and performance for young readers and their families Thursday evening at the Auglaize County Library.

"It's something fun, free, family oriented," Youth services coordinator Kristine Spyker said.

She said the show was part of the "Fiz Boom Read" Summer Reading Program, so it was geared toward youth. However, parents as well as children laughed and participated in the show.

"Otterbein is bringing a bus, so it's hitting every age level," Spyker said. "We opened it to everybody."
