Krites takes home Bowler of the Year award

The West Ohio High School Bowling Conference held it awards banquet March 10 at Romer’s Catering St. Henry, Ohio.  

The event featured four PBA players, Brian Kretzer, Chris Loschetter, Ronnie Russell and Kyle Bigelow.  

The Wapakoneta Redskins brought home many awards.

Austin Krites received the “Boys Bowler of the Year Award.”  Austin finished the year averaging 213.00 with a 2 game high series of 515.  

His high game for the year was 279.  Receiving First Team All-Conference for the varsity boys were Austin Krites and Zach Miller.  

Honorable mention went to Chandler Kaeck, Nathan Kaeck and Zerrick Brannan.  

The Wapakoneta Redskins varsity boys team finished the season Conference Runners-up and received medals for their accomplishment.  

Team members were Zach Miller, Austin Krites, Chandler Kaeck, Zerrick Brannan, Nate Kaeck and Trevor Copeland.  The REdskins were coached by Jim Kaeck.

Haley Grieves was presented a certificate for First Team All-Conference.  Haley was selected to receive the Joe Remaklus $250 Scholarship and is a $200 West Ohio High School Bowling Conference Scholarship Winner. 

Malia Jordan is the $300 West Ohio High
