Kenneth Gossard, 77

Kenneth Klor Gossard, 77, of Harrod, died at 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health Systems.
He was born May 3, 1945, in Wayne Township, Auglaize County, to Pansy Lucinda (Webb) and Charles Ercil Gossard. On June 29, 1957, he married Joan Beery, and she survives in Harrod.
Also surviving are a daughter, Sherri Lynn (David) Helling, of Bellbrook; a granddaughter, Kristin Helling, of Oxford; three brothers, Charles Gossard, of Massilon, Lowell (Vera) Gossard, of Delphos, and Michael (Kay) Gossard, of Sidney; a sister, Twyla Holmes, of Wapakoneta; a sister-in-law, Charlene Butterfield, of Cridersville.
Mr. Gossard had been a truck driver for Scot Lad, Roundy’s and Nash Finch. He was a member of Lima Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, watching the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Reds. He served in the U. S. Marines during the Korean Era.
The funeral service will begin 10:30 a.m., Saturday March 16 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, with the Rev. Terry Brock officiating. Burial will follow at St. Matthew Cemetery near Cridersville.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff who took such good care of Kenny at Lima Memorial Health Systems.
