Chandler Kaeck was the conference’s top bowler Saturday, as the Wapakoneta Redskins dominated in their win over the Temple Christian Pioneers.
Wapak won 3,079-1,915 in a West Ohio High School Bowling Conference varsity boys match Saturday at Northland Lanes in Lima.
Kaeck’s top score of 257 was the highest among conference bowlers Saturday, and his 241 average was the top one among WOHSBC bowlers who rolled two games.
Austin Krites (182-220) barely got his average over 200.
Brandon Kennard rolled a pair of 190 games, while Nate Kaeck (170-201) and Blake Knueve (201-163) also bowled for Wapak.
The Redskins won the Bakers games, 1,080-743.
All five of Wapak’s bowlers’ game totals Saturday exceeded the highest individual score by a Temple Christian bowler, 161, by Myles Anderson.
The Redskins were the only WOHSBC team to exceed 3,000 pins Saturday.
Wapak (4-0) will continue its season at 10 a.m. Saturday at Speedway Lanes in New Bremen.View more articles in:
