Juanita Mae Holt, 89, of Wapakoneta, formerly of Fostoria, died Wednesday Feb. 27, 2013, at the Wapakoneta Manor with her family by her side.
She was born March 18, 1923 in Wayne, to Catherine (Milligan) and Carl Armstrong. On April 7, 1956, in Fostoria she married Melvin E. Holt, and he died on Nov. 9, 1996.
Surviving are two daughters, Karyn (Michael) Keckler, of Wapakoneta and Barbara Broski, of Fremont; 11 grandchildren, Dawn Garner, Mike Keckler, Kamilla Stewart, Beth Holt, Jamie Holt, Thomas Shaffer, Joseph Malan, Lori Marshall, John Broski, Julie Broski and Todd Broski; 39 great-grandchildren; and 37 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, James Holt; a daughter, Margaret Malan; two sisters, Ruth Pickens and Judy Parker; and a brother, Garland Armstrong.
She retired from Ex-Cello Co. in Fostoria and was a 1942 graduate of Wayne High School.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Fostoria, and she attended the Only Believe Ministries Christian Center in Botkins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria, with the Rev. Michael Keckler officiating. Burial will be at Knollcrest Cemetery near Arcadia.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the Charity of the donor’s choice.
