JoAnn Blank, 84

JoAnn Blank, 84, of Cridersville, died at 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at Lima Manor Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 5, 1929, to the late Ira B. and Lois Lucille Allstetter Keller. She married Harry W. Blank on June 10, 1951, and he preceded her in death March 16, 1990.

Mrs. Blank had worked for Woolworth for 33 years and had also been a receptionist for Dr. David Nielson. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and had graduated from Lima South High in 1947.

Survivors include, a daughter, Rebecca (Charles) Stocker, of Elida; two grandchildren, Heather R. Stocker and Joshua W. Stocker; a great-grandson, Dakota R. Stocker; a brother, Rodney K. Keller, of Elida; and two sisters, Lois Sheeler, of Temple, Texas, and Emmagene Kennedy, of Lima.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank B. Keller and Larry B. Keller.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral will begin at 2 p.m., with Rev. Michael Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery near Uniopolis.
