Helen Moorman, 90

Helen B. Harmon Moorman, 90, died at 1:35 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at Cridersville Healthcare Center.
She was born March 14, 1921, in Bowie, Texas, to Emily Cornelius and Lenard Lafayette Lynch, and both preceded her in death. On Sept. 9, 1939, she married Vatis B. Harmon who died July 11 1971. She then married Chester Moorman who also preceded her in death.
She was a winder with Westinghouse. She then went on to get her L.P.N. and worked at St. Rita’s Hospital in Lima and as a private duty nurse. She was a member of the Lima Missionary Baptist Church. She loved gardening and enjoyed sewing.
Survivors are two sisters, Evelyn Teplitzky of Lima, and Gladys Bollman, of Cridersville.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton Lynch.
Services are at 10:30 a.m., Thursday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, the Rev. Terry Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, in Lima.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville.
