Gerald C. "Jerry" Doorley, 84, of Westerville, died Friday, May 9, 2014, at St. Ann's Hospital.
He retired from Producers Livestock Association. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church for 30 years and most recently, St. Matthew Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his children, Karen Doorley, Patrick Doorley, Joseph Doorley and Kevin (Manda) Doorley; grandchildren, Jill (Doorley) Zender, Joyce, Spencer, Jake and Tyler Doorley; great-grandson, Liam Zender; brother, Mark Doorley; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette M. Doorley; parents, Carolyn and Joseph Doorley; sisters, Jane McCoy and Mary Alice Young.

Friends may call at the Moreland Funderal Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, on Wednesday, from 5-8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, on Thursday at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner as celebrant. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
