Francis Lowry, 92

Wm. Francis Lowry, 92, of Cridersville, died at 9:12 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013, at his residence.
He was born April 26, 1920, in Allen County, to Dorothy Grace (Sellers) and Samuel Price Lowry. On Aug. 5, 1950, he married Ellen Wolfe, and she survives in Cridersville.
Mr. Lowry had been a farmer and was a member of the Auglaize County Farm Bureau. He was a member of Rousculp Church of Christ, Uniopolis Fire Department and was a Fairmount Cemetery Board Member. He was a former Union Township Trustee.
Surviving are a son, John (Lana) Lowry, of Wapakoneta; four daughters, Judy (Bill) Faccenda, of Lima, Pati (Terry) Hubert, of Holland, Jeanne (Richard ‘Al’) Lutterbein, of Elida, and Jane (Greg) Davidson, of Crab Orchard, Tenn.; two brothers, Loren ‘Buck’ Lowry, of Cridersville, and Richard ‘Dick’ Lowry, of Uniopolis; three sisters, Carol Lee, of Lima, Joanne (Richard) Crumrine, of Lima, and Phyllis Brown, of Elida; 12 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Tully and Dorothy Lowry.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wed.nesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenny Rader officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery near Uniopolis.
Memorial contributions may be given to Rousculp Church of Christ or to Uniopolis Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
