Florence Copeland, 94

Florence Catherena Copeland, 94, of Jackson Center, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta.
She was born April 23, 1918, in Clay Township, the daughter of the late Malinda (Kanrr) and William S. Helmlinger.
On June 29, 1940, at St. Marks Church in Clay Township, she married Clifford Emerson Copeland, and he preceded her in death May 10, 1967.
Surviving are two sons, Samuel M. Copeland, of Lewistown, and Rudy D. (Linda) Copeland, of Sidney; a brother, Homer (Cleola) Helmlinger, of Wapakoneta; a sister, Doris Kah, of Wapakoneta; three grandsons, Mike (Becky) Copeland, of Lewistown, Kelly Copeland, of Lewistown, and Marc (Abby) Copeland, of Galloway; five great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Copeland, Kasey Copeland, Cortney Copeland, Archer Copeland, and Harper Copeland; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by two sons, one brother, a daughter-in-law, Jan Copeland; and a brother-in-law, Richard Kah.
Florence was a long-time member of Grace Lutheran Church in Jackson Center. She loved dogs and had many as pets through the years.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eichholtz, Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 214 W. Pike St., Jackson Center, with the Revs. Shannon Vogelezang and Kent Hollis officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday aat the funeral home.
