Erma Wauben, 75

Erma J. Wauben, 75, of Wapakoneta, died at 12:58 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Lima.
She was born Aug. 31, 1937, in Hueysville, Ky., the daughter of to Polly (Prater) and Bob Griffith, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 22, 1960, she married Walter H. Wauben, and he survives in Wapakoneta.
Also surviving are a son, Terry Lee (Robin) Wauben, of Columbus, two granddaughters, Hailey Wauben and Hannah Wauben; two brothers, John ‘Buddy’ (Imogene) Griffith, of Cridersville, and Grover (Mary) Griffith, of Lima; and a sister, Joyce (Kenneth) Diltz of Cloverdale.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth Griffith and Paul Griffith; and a sister, Glenna Fay Griffith.
Mrs. Wauben had been a nurses technician at Lima Memorial Health Systems. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and enjoyed being with family.
Services are at 7 p.m. Monday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, with the Rev. Lynn Huffman officiating. Private burial will be at a later date in Auglaize Cemetery.
